Night Drive
Through the roads of night I begin,
With the wheel light in my hands,
The wind whispers soft words,
And the stars follow silently.
The city lights, far away,
became a line on the horizon,
and the darkness, a faithful companion,
embraces every turn we take.
Silence filled the air,
My eyes gaze into the distance,
not for a destination,
But for a moment that belongs to us.
Music plays low,
Lyrics speak of lost dreams,
But the night holds it all,
Every thought and every wish.
On this drive, just us,
and the night wrapping around.
The car, a small refuge,
where the world pauses and fades.
What more could one need?
When the night feels alive,
and the journey becomes the reason,
For a little more life?
